Pay-TV sports broadcaster Eurosport is set to launch a new version of its online player, which will allow viewers to pause and rewind its channels, as well as watch three feeds from the same event.
The new player allows users to pause live streamed content for up to three hours and displays a programme to allow viewers to see the full schedule.
The player will be introduced immediately in conjunction with the Roland Garros 2010 French Open tennis tournament.
Eurosport has also launched a free application for BlackBerry and Android smartphones that deliver live results, sports news coverage, player stats, standings and fixtures.
Eurosport and Panasonic are currently broadcasting the French Open in 3D in 3,000 selected Panasonic retail outlets, in 28 territories across Europe.
The sports broadcaster also announced last week that it has replaced the BBC as the exclusive broadcast rights holder for the next GB home Davis Cup match.
