Icon Extends #btsia Partnership

The Sport Industry Group is delighted to confirm that ICON, the leading event branding and production specialist, has extended its partnership with the BT Sport Industry Awards, which will once again bring together the entire industry on Thursday 8th May 2014

ICON will create the look of the prestigious event, as renowned for its phenomenal visual displays as it is for its unparalleled status among those in the industry. As part of the well-established partnership, now entering its seventh year, ICON will once again support the award for Best Sponsorship of an Event or Competition, receiving an array of branding and marketing rights in the build-up to the Awards ceremony.

Last year saw British Airways (pictured above with Louis Smith) presented the award for their London 2012 work.

The extension forms part of ICON’s global business strategy which this year includes providing its services to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as well as the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. ICON delivers these global major events through industry-leading partnerships with local organisations, allowing it to showcase its expertise and experience, helping develop brands and companies around the world.

The BT Sport Industry Awards ceremony – to be held at Battersea Evolution in London on Thursday 8th May – will once again be a sell-out event, bringing together 1,750 key influential figures from across the world of sport. The Judging Process for the BT Sport Industry Awards involves the contribution of more than 50 industry professionals across more than 60 hours, with the entire process overseen at all times by Deloitte, the Official Independent Scrutineers of the BT Sport Industry Awards. 

BT are the Headline Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards. Official Partners include Barclays, Deloitte and Eurosport.
