Sports marketing agency brandRapport has been bought by investment firm Ingenious Media Active Capital (IMAC) through its newly created international marketing services group Qobliq.
Qobliq, which is being funded by a £7.5m investment from IMAC, has been created by Xavier Quatrrocchi-Oubradous and Roland Giscard d’Estaing who previously founded the Paris-based sponsorship consultancy Sponsorclick.
BrandRapport was set up 25 years ago, as Craigie Taylor International, and boasts a client list including working on Nationwide’s backing of the England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales football teams.
The acquisition by Qobliq was a cash and equity deal with brandRapport’s holding company Passhold.
