IMG Consulting has won the agency pitch to handle all aspects of British Airways’ sponsorship activity, including its Tier One sponsorship deal for the London 2012 Olympics, with immediate effect.
Over the last few months the airline has undertaken a rigorous sponsorship agency review and through a competitive pitch process awarded the account to IMG Consulting.
Working alongside British Airways in-house global sponsorship and communication teams, IMG consulting is responsible for all aspects of British Airways sponsorship portfolio, from day-to-day sponsorship enquiries, through to the strategic planning and delivery of activation internally and externally.
IMG will develop British Airways’ existing campaigns including ‘BA Great Britons Programme’, as well as explore new opportunities to connect with the airlines key audiences using its international network to drive commercial return.
