The BBC has confirmed it will broadcast every England women’s game ahead of this summer’s 2019 Women’s World Cup, starting with the fixture against Brazil in the She Believes Cup.

Strengthening its commitment to women’s football, the free-to-air broadcaster will screen the Lionesses’ opening game in the She Believes Cup with Brazil live on BBC Four on Wednesday 27th February, followed by games with World Cup holders USA and Japan.

The BBC has also announced it’s to screen four of England’s warm-up games ahead of the 2019 FIFA World Cup campaign in France, including home fixtures with Canada, Spain, Denmark and New Zealand.

In addition, domestically, the BBC will also be showing both Women’s FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday 14th April, as well as the showcase final on Saturday 4th May.


Ted Baker has announced a new partnership with Peter Crouch, who will team up with the clothing brand’s longstanding ambassador, swimmer Mark Foster, as the face of the ‘T for Tall’ range.

A new campaign depicts the pair enjoying a game of darts and cleaning up the pool table in an iconic London working men’s club.

Crouch’s curated T for Tall selection features pieces including jackets, knitwear, shirts, trousers and footwear, all aimed at gentlemen over 6″3. The range is now available exclusively from Ted Baker’s Covent Garden store.


The 2019 UCI Road World Championships has unveiled a new partnership with Yorkshire Tea, which will see the Harrogate-based brand exclusively sponsor and support the volunteers for the event later this year.

The deal was negotiated by The Sports Consultancy, the UCI’s exclusive rights marketing agency for the event which takes place between 21-29th September 2019.

In addition, Yorkshire Tea, produced by Taylors of Harrogate, will also be the exclusive tea supplier to the 2019 UCI Road World Championships.

Around two thousand volunteers, dubbed ‘the Yorkshire Team,’ are expected to be called upon to assist riders and spectators across a range of roles throughout the event in September, including to act as interpreters for the 80 nations taking part, to marshalling along the routes.


Wasps has agreed a partnership with Coventry-based GEFCO, a global provider of complex industrial supply chain services and finished vehicle logistics.

The agreement will see the firm become the Affiliate Partners of the Gallagher Premiership side until the end of the 2019/20 season.

The partnership will give GEFCO UK exposure on Wasps match days on the Ricoh Arena’s 188 sq metre LED screen and around the stadium.

GEFCO staff will also benefit from the partnership, gaining exclusive ticket offers and access to hospitality packages.


The London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) has confirmed the entertainment that both participants and spectators can expect along the 13.1km route next month.

Following its inaugural event in 2018, this year’s edition takes place on Sunday 24th March 2019 and will host 180 charity cheer stations with a London-orientated theme a key feature, including references to Monopoly, Mary Poppins and the Victorian period.

LLHM has announced that amongst the music and dance acts present along the route through Westminster and The City include YouTube’s Jack Maynard, the Big Smokebrass band, London Gay Men’s Chorus, London City Voices, as well as and youth acts St Pauls Way School and Guildhall School of Music.

Runners will also be cheered along across the finish line by famous historical figures, such as Henry VIII and Dick Whittington, whilst present day residents including the Chelsea Pensioners and Pearlie King and Queens are to present medals on the day.
