Premier League side Southampton Football Club has announced a deal with Bridgehead Software’s Independent Clinical Archive, HealthStore.

The partnership with the UK-based data and storage management specialists will help assist the long-term consolidation, protection and secure sharing of the club’s players’ medical images, such as ultrasounds and MRIs.

HealthStore will provide a central repository for all players’ medical images, which will enable the club’s medical staff and authorised hospital specialists to access and view data securely, when and where they need to.

In turn, this will support the club’s clinicians in assessing injuries, collaborating on player rehabilitation and developing education and injury prevention strategies.
