Great Britain’s Fed Cup team have been drawn at home against Kazakhstan in the World Group II Play-Off.
The tie, taking place over 20th-21st April, will signal the first time GB have been handed a home tie at this stage in the competition.
The draw confirmation arrives fresh off the back of Britain’s first Fed Cup home tie since 1993, where Great Britain triumphed during the Euro/Africa Zone qualifiers held at the University of Bath.
April’s Play-Off tie, their fifth since 2012, is widely reported to be played at London’s Copper Box Arena, where victory would mean a return for GB to the elite World Group level for the first time in 26 years.
