The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has announced a two-year partnership with Wilkinson Sword.
The agreement, which will run until 2020, includes rights to on-court branding across four core British Tennis events in the calendar: Fever-Tree Championships, Nature Valley Open, Nature Valley International and Nature Valley Classic, as well as a bespoke pop-up in the players’ lounge at the Fever-Tree Championships.
The partnership will see a range of Wilkinson Sword products sampled across the range of events, alongside Edgewell brands.
Marketing and athlete management agency Sports Sphere has signed double European Champion and Commonwealth medallist swimmer, Freya Anderson to its talent roster.
In what proved a prolific year for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games hopeful, 2018 saw Anderson win two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games in Australia and two gold and two bronze medals at the European Championships in Glasgow.
Commenting on the 17-year-old British swimmer’s arrival to its talent line-up, James Harper, Managing Director at Sports Sphere, said: “We’re delighted that Freya has chosen to join the Sports Sphere and can’t wait to be a part of her journey to the 2020 Olympic Games and beyond.

Global Athlete, a new athlete-led movement, has launched, which aims to help “bring sport into the 21st century,” and give athletes a bigger say in the running of elite sport.
Team GB’s Rio 2016 Olympic champion Callum Skinner is to play a lead role in the formation of the new movement, which hopes to inspire and lead positive change across the world of sport and balance the power between athletes and sports administrators.
Former World Anti-Doping Agency Deputy Director General, Rob Koehler has been hired as Director General for Global Athlete.
Koehler will begin his role by leading a “listening exercise” with athletes in all countries over the coming months to understand what changes they want to see within sport.
