The Sport Industry Group is delighted to announce that The Inzito Partnership, the boutique executive search firm, will support the Leadership in Sport Award at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2014.

The Leadership in Sport Award, designed to recognise and reward the leadership that is absolutely essential in sport both on and off the pitch, has previously been won by the likes of Sir Dave Brailsford, the outgoing Performance Director of British Cycling, and Paul Deighton (above), who delivered London 2012 as CEO of LOCOG.

The Inzito Partnership, which is based in London but operates globally, will also support the Sport Industry Private Dining Club – a series of quarterly dinners in London’s most renowned fine-dining restaurants, designed to bring the senior leadership of the sport industry together to network and share ideas.

Nick Keller, Chairman of the Sport Industry Group, commented: ‘The sport industry is a unique collection of entrepreneurial businesses. Even the most global brands operating in this space have reached their position through qualities that echo what we so often see on the field, pitch or track – with strong leadership from the right people for the job perhaps number one amongst them.’

Mark Souster, Head of the Sports Practice at The Inzito Partnership, added: ‘The Inzito Partnership is delighted to be supporting the Leadership in Sport Award at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2014.’

‘As a leader in the sport executive search market place, we take pride in helping to pick the top teams, and our association with this Award and the Sport Industry Private Dining Club fits well with our growth in the sector. It is an exciting time in the business of sport and a good moment for us to be involved in these two excellent initiatives.’

The BT Sport Industry Awards ceremony – to be held at Battersea Evolution in London on Thursday 8th May – will once again be a sell-out event in 2014. The Judging Process for the BT Sport Industry Awards involves the contribution of more than 50 industry professionals across more than 60 hours, with the entire process overseen at all times by Deloitte, the Official Independent Scrutineers of the BT Sport Industry Awards.

A handful of tables and individual places are still available for the BT Sport Industry Awards 2014, and can be booked here.

BT is the Headline Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards. Official Partners include Barclays, Deloitte and Eurosport.
