Kpmg Extends GB Taekwondo Deal
KPMG has extended its sponsorship deal with the GB Taekwondo team through to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The deal, which builds upon an existing three-year relationship, will see KPMG continue to offer business services to the sport as an official partner of both the GB Taekwondo team and their major events programme which currently includes the National Championships and GB Taekwondo’s annual showpiece, the British Open both of which will be held in Manchester this year.
The National Championship will be held at the Manchester Velodrome, 18th-19th June, 2011 while The British Open, featuring some of the world’s leading taekwondo players, will be staged at Manchester’s Sportcity, 1st-2nd October, 2011.
The GB Taekwondo team will also be competing at the WTF World Taekwondo Championships in Gyeongju, Korea, from 1st-6th May 2011.
