The final opportunity for brands, agencies, governing bodies and organisations to put forward their work for the chance to steal the headlines in front of their industry peers is here, with entries pouring in ahead of the deadline for the Sport Industry Awards 2012.
An unprecedented number of entries have already been submitted for the sport industry’s most anticipated and prestigious annual event, which will take place on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 at Battersea Evolution in central London. Organisations will receive recognition for their work at a glamorous black-tie event, in what has become the most visible and sought-after endorsement of commercial achievement in sport.
Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in May, the Sport Industry Awards continues to grow year-on-year. 2010’s star-studded ceremony once again featured a host of sporting celebrities including Andrew Strauss, AP McCoy, Jack Wilshere, Joe Calzaghe, Petr Cech, Sir Geoff Hurst, Denise Lewis, Michael Vaughan, Dame Kelly Holmes, Alan Shearer, Sir Clive Woodward, Amir Khan and many more, as well as over 1,700 industry heavyweights from every spectrum of the industry.
17 winners, including UKA, adidas, Everton FC, the ECB, Team Sky, Nike and the Celtic Manor Resort, walked away with a much-coveted Sport Industry Award, crowned as the leading performers from hundreds entering companies and organisations.
