Organiser SBC Events has revealed that September’s Betting on Sports Week will be the biggest in the event’s history.
The three-day conference, which will take place at London’s Olympia between the 18th and 21st September this year, is set to feature 250 expert speakers from across the sports betting, esports, media and broader sports sectors.
They will include Draftkings CEO Jason Robins, Betway CEO Anthony Werkman, Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford, Skybet CEO Richard Flint, PDC CEO Matthew Porter and snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan among other thought leaders, innovators and key decision makers from around the industry.
This year’s conference is the first to take place since the landmark deregulation of sports betting across many states in north America – a move that looks set to transform the sector.
Betradar’s David Lampitt welcomed the opportunity to be part of the event, saying: “Betting on Sports is now well known for raising and discussing key issues and developments in and around the sports betting ecosystem at the highest level. We are honoured that BOS has called on Betradar and our experts to help bring expertise to these debates and discussions that sit right at the heart of the industry’s present and future.”
Betting on Sports Week is expected to draw record numbers of delegates from around the world, with more than 90 content sessions including input from operators; suppliers; service providers; affiliates and media interests, payment specialists, compliance, law and regulatory experts; and sports clubs and organisations.
Attendees will also have access to a full networking programme at Millbank Tower and the Natural History Museum as well as an exhibition comprising 140 exhibitors and a new Sports Betting Hall of Fame Awards.
The event follows the success of Betting in Sports Week 2017, with Samuel Barrett, gaming director at Trustly commenting: “Betting on Sports is the best platform within the sports betting industry to share insight and industry experience.
“I am looking forward to sharing the stage with some of my friends in the industry and networking with some of the biggest operators in gaming.”
