Mpora.tv Launches Extreme Sport Portal

The London-based online sports channel Mpora.TV will launch a new extreme sports section on the Yahoo Eurosport site.

In a joint venture with Yahoo Eurosport, Mpora.TV’s new portal will form part of a larger offering by the search engine, which will broadcast exclusive footage from the extreme sports calendar on the net.

Owned and operated by online sports broadcaster Factory Media, Mpora.TV is one of the only extreme-sports channels online. The new portal on the Yahoo site will stream video highlights packages, daily news and features.

Major extreme sports events, such as the Billabong Air and Style in Innsbruck in January and the Vans Triple Crown of surfing in Hawaii next month, will be available for viewing.
