London 2012 has said the Olympic ticket resale system will reopen this week, after the resale process was suspended on 6th January following technical problems.
LOCOG has not confirmed exactly when the system will be back online, but insist they have found the solution to the problem.
The process was designed to allow people to try to resell their unwanted Olympic and Paralympic tickets.
Those who bought tickets directly from Games organiser LOCOG should be able to submit their tickets for resale on the site, run by Ticketmaster, until 3rd February.
The resale window opened on 6th January but the site lasted less than a day after problems developed – with the site too slow to update sessions which had sold out.
On 9th January LOCOG partially reopened the site to sell Football and Paralympic tickets.
It is the latest in a series of ticketing problems, including the first sales period being extended after the site slowed down, and ten thousand tickets were oversold for synchronized swimming.
There will be a further chance to resell tickets from April 2012.
