The Sport Industry Group is delighted to announce that Paddy Power will be the Official Betting Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards 2014.

The partnership will see the 1,750 attendees at the sport industry’s flagship event offered the chance on the night to predict the winners of the Brand of the Year Award, sponsored by Pinsent Masons, through a free £10 bet. The bookmaker will then ‘pay out’ on all winning bets with a donation to the Special Olympics, the brand’s charity partner and world’s largest sporting organisation for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The bookmaker is one of the most recognisable and popular in the world of sport, offering fans unrivalled value and entertainment through every touch point.

Paddy Power commented: ‘It’s great to be involved in making the BT Sport Industry Awards one of the most entertaining nights in the sporting calendar. Given the Awards will host the great and the good of the industry, we’re hoping that predictions on the night will be spot on and we can write a nice fat cheque for the Special Olympics.’

Nick Keller, Chairman of the Sport Industry Group, added: ‘Paddy Power are a familiar sight at the biggest sporting venues and occasions across the country and all around the world, and we are thrilled to work with them to support the Special Olympics at this year’s BT Sport Industry Awards, as well as add to the enjoyment for everyone in the room.’

A handful of table packages for the BT Sport Industry Awards are still available here.

BT is the Official Headline Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards. Official Partners include Barclays, Deloitte and Eurosport.
