Pha Group Wins Bellator Mma Brief
The PHA Group has been appointed by mixed martial arts (MMA) promotor Bellator to support the promotion of its 2019 UK and European event schedule.
The win will see the PR agency work with Santa Monica-based Bellator to promote and assist with its European expansion initiative as it prepares a for a host of events in the UK, Ireland and western Europe next year.
Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena has already been confirmed to host the first instalment of Bellator’s MMA European fight series on Saturday 9th February, an event which will see 11 bouts including a main lightweight event featuring Pitbull vs Scope, as well as the return of Aaron Chalmers.
“Bellator’s European event schedule in 2019 is a huge statement of intent,” Katie Matthews, Director of PR at The PHA Group, said.
“Bellator’s roster of athletes are some of the best and most exciting in the world and we’re delighted to be working together to promote their events across the UK and Europe in 2019.”

The announcement caps a year in which the London-based PR firm rebranded after 13 years, transitioning from PHA Media to The PHA Group to reflect the organisation’s growth since being established in 2005.
