PR, sponsorship and events agency, Hatch Communications, has been appointed by PhD Nutrition to handle the brand’s consumer, trade and social media accounts, as well as a fully integrated campaign launch for their new brand creative.
PhD Nutrition is set to launch a tailored range of products, designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of women, and is launching a range of shakes and bars next month to cater any fitness or weight loss goal.
Hatch will work across PhD’s full product portfolio, raising awareness of the current range aimed at men, as well as launching PhD woman at the Vitality Show on 21st to 24th March.
Hatch’s specialist sports division also intend to maximise their sponsorship properties and brand ambassador relationships with various sporting teams and athletes.
Jason Madeley, managing director of Hatch Communications, said: ‘PhD Nutrition is a perfect fit for the team at Hatch, combining consumer experience with our specialist sports expertise. The launch of PhD woman in March is going to make for a very exciting couple of months for both PhD and ourselves, and we look forward to working with them to make the range a success.’
Brooke Smart, marketing manager at PhD nutrition, added: ‘We have invested in valuable research into our products, and how consumers are looking to complement their training and eating plans, which consequently meant that we wanted an agency who thoroughly understood our customers and their media.’
‘It is important for us to not only retain current customers, but also break category norms through the education of health-conscious consumers that have never considered sports nutrition before, due to a lack of understanding. We feel that the Hatch team will help us achieve these goals and we look forward seeing the brand reach its full potential in the coming year.’
