London-based digital and social media agency 50 Sport has extended its partnership with Qatar Airways.
As per the renewal, 50 Sport fended off competition from rival agencies to retain the rights to Qatar Airways’ sponsorship portfolio.
Through its partnership with Qatar’s flag carrier, 50 Sport previously led activations around the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, and created content for the airline’s partnership roster that includes Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and the Brooklyn Nets.
The digital and social specialist, which was recently nominated for Agency of the Year at the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2024, will offer content production and strategy, in addition to creative campaigns and a visual identity for the airline.
50 Sport has been given the brief of meeting Qatar Airways’ digital objectives, as well as driving social media growth and further consolidating the company’s standing within global sport.
Nick Jackman, Co-Founder at 50 Sport, said, “50 Sport is an agency built to partner with the biggest brands in sport, and Qatar Airways is just that.
“Their sponsorship portfolio is world-class, and we could not be more excited about their continued commitment to our partnership in what is such a competitive environment. The opportunity to make award-winning work here is huge.”
At present, 50 Sport’s expansive roster of clients includes the FA, the Ferrari Formula 1 team, NBA Europe, Premiership Rugby and the Ryder Cup.
