Brioche Pasquier UK has announced its first ever sponsorship, after confirming a new deal with Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, the largest women-only fundraising event series outside the US.
French Family Bakers since 1936, Brioche Pasquier UK plans to promote its range of products through on pack promotions and race-day activity after becoming a second tier sponsor of the fundraiser.
At each of the 231 CRUK Race for Life events, Brioche Pasquier UK will reward participants with a product from its filled brioche range PITCH. In addition, they will host experiential activity across 10 events.
Brioche Pasquier aims to enhance the participant experience and help to drive fundraising for Race for Life and the dedicated work Cancer Research UK does in funding research to beat over 200 types of cancer affecting both men and women.
In addition, with the support of Generate Sponsorship, who helped build the partnership, Brioche Pasquier UK is launching a fundraising campaign that will include on-pack promotions and PR activity, with the aim of driving participation at the Race for Life events and donations to the charity.
Ludovic Moulard, marketing manager, commented: ‘The entire team at Brioche Pasquier UK is very proud to be a champion sponsor of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life. The charity is a great cause that is close to our hearts and also provides the perfect platform for Brioche Pasquier to raise awareness and engage with families across the UK. These are our first exciting steps into national event sponsorship in the UK and we look forward to an on-going relationship with Cancer Research UK.’
Emma Hyatt, head of Race for Life, added: ‘We are really pleased with the level of commitment Brioche Pasquier have already shown Race for Life, from supplying over half a million brioches for our ladies as they cross the finish line to really innovative and engaging promotions to their customers about Race for Life. They are proving to be really committed to Cancer Research UK’s cause, raising funds to help us to beat cancer sooner and we are looking forward to watching the partnership develop.’
