Reebok & Eurosport Agree Crossfit Expansion

Reebok and Eurosport have joined forces for a second year running to produce a series of documentaries and live broadcasts centered around CrossFit, a fast growing strength and conditioning programme, and the CrossFit Games, the global competition to find the fittest man and woman on earth.

Already established in the United States, CrossFit has become increasingly more popular around the globe in recent years. Through the partnership, Reebok and Eurosport will continue to bring the Sport of Fitness to TV screens across Europe.

The programming is scheduled to be aired across Eurosport’s 130 million homes in 54 different markets from 20th April, and will consist of six episodes of ‘THE BOX’, a documentary series that follows the journey of elite CrossFit Games athletes as they train for the European Regional of the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games.  

2013 also marks the third year that Reebok is the title sponsor of the Games.

In 2012, its inaugural year, “THE BOX” reached over 16 million people across Europe and this year will see each of the 13-minute episodes travel across the continent, following athletes and focusing on their training schedules, everyday lives and the day-to-day challenges they face. 

All episodes will be broadcast on Eurosport and will also be made available to watch online at http://thebox.eurosport.com/.
