At a sellout ceremony at Old Billingsgate in central London, the winners of the
Sport Industry Awards 2007 were unveiled to a packed house of industry
ambassadors and sport and entertainment celebrities.

All the winners were in attendance with notable award winners including
adidas picking up the Sport Brand of the Year following its highly successful
World Cup year while Karen Earl Sponsorship was named Sport Agency of the Year –
winning the inaugural award in this new category.

Commented John Inverdale, Chairman of the judging panel for the Sport
Industry Awards 2007: “2006 may not have been a year to remember on the pitch
but the progress made in the engine room of commercial sport continues to prove
that sport is a thriving business sector.

“The record-breaking number of entries for the Sport Industry Awards 2007 has
seen the quality of work lifted higher than ever before, making the winners the
