The Sport Industry Group is delighted to unveil the Official Shortlist for the Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards 2011.
After a steering committee process involving key industry figures and hours of intensive judging at Deloitte’s offices in Johannesburg, the list of nominees below represents the very best that the South African sports business has to offer.
The Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards is the first ever opportunity for the rapidly evolving South African sports market to celebrate its work and reaching the shortlist represents a stellar achievement.
The nominees listed below will now go forward to the main judging panel, facilitated by former Springbok captain Bob Skinstad, who will decide the winners in each of the 12 award categories and the 4 judges’ categories.
The winners will be announced at the star-studded Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards ceremony at Emperors Palace in Ekurhuleni on 17th February, 2011.
