Sid Lee reportedly won the account without a pitch and will now handle the advertising, branding, retail design, experiential and interactive communications accounts for Adidas. ??
The agency already holds the adidas originals account, which deals with retro footwear and urban wear.??
The partnership between 180 Amsterdam and Adidas is one of the longest running in advertising having held the Adidas account for the past twelve years.??
Sid Lee has previously produced adverts for adidas including the Star Wars cantina scene that featured David Beckham and Snoop Dogg.
??In 2006 Omnicom Group bought a majority stake in 180 Amsterdam and the agency shared the Adidas account with Omnicom-owned TBWA\Worldwide since 2002.
