Sport Industry Gathers For #sia2012
The sport industry’s most anticipated annual event takes place tonight, Wednesday 2nd May, with celebrities, sporting stars, leading industry figures and Sport Industry Award shortlisters set to take their place amongst 1,750 people at the largest gathering of individuals from across the entire spectrum of the sport industry.
The Sport Industry Awards ceremony will take a look back over an incredible year of sporting achievement on and off the pitch and look forward to what is going to be a transformative few months for the nation as a whole.

The Sport Industry Awards will welcome the likes of: Olympic legend Michael Johnson and Paralympic legend Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson; stars from the worlds of TV, fashion and music such as Jamie Oliver, Jodie Kidd, Mark Wright and Keith Lemon; popular British Olympians such as Sally Gunnell, Amy Williams, Denise Lewis, Darren Campbell and Colin Jackson; Premier League stars past and present including Darren Bent, Gareth Southgate, Michael Dawson and Jens Lehmann; Talksport radio stars Andy Gray and Richard Keys; Rugby World Cup winners Will Greenwood and Richard Hill and members of the current England rugby team; world champion boxers including Joe Calzaghe and Barry McGuigan; Ryder Cup winning golfer Paul McGinley and many more.
They will join guests from a host of Europe’s leading brands, agencies, federations and corporations , including adidas, Aviva, Betfair, brandRapport, EA Sports, ECB, G4S, IMG, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, Synergy, NBA, Sky Sports, Sport England and many more.
