Sports Consultancy Appoints Former Locog Exec

The Sports Consultancy has appointed former Locog executive Paul Foster as a senior associate, who will expand the consultancy’s offering around senior operational major event planning.

As a member of Locog, Foster was part of the Olympic Park senior management team for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In that role, he oversaw the design, delivery and management of external operations of the Games’ Olympic Park.

Foster joins The Sports Consultancy having most recently held the position of executive head of business for Surrey Heath Borough Council, where he was responsible for the parks, culture, leisure and sports departments.

Founded in 2006, The Sports Consultancy is best known for running the host city procurement process for the Volvo Ocean Race and the WTA Championships.
