Times Media, the publishing house for The Times and Sunday Times newspapers, is reportedly holding a pitch to appoint a sports marketing agency to leverage its sponsorship tie-ups.
Times Media has historically focused much of its sport sponsorship activity on rugby union, running major advertising and marketing campaigns to promote its coverage of the sport.
Times Media had previously been working with sports marketing agency Fast Track which is believed to not be repitching for the business.
The speculation regarding the pitch comes following the return of former employee Katie Vanneck to the post of sales and marketing director at Times Media following a spell heading up the marketing department of The Daily Telegraph.
