Sports marketing agency Two Circles has expanded into Germany, opening a new office in Cologne.
The Germany-based team comprises 20 senior consultants, and is led by Lars Stegelmann, as well as strategy consultants and data specialists Sebastian Kurczynski and DrJan Dreisbach.
Stegelmann’s industry experience includes positions at Nielsen, the RB Formula 1 team, Formula E, FIFA, and UEFA.
Two Circles’ EMEA Managing Director Kristian Gotsch and Client Service Director Bettina Baer will also support the team.
The new team will provide services both for Germany-based organisations looking to enhance their global profile, and for international organisations looking to expand within the region.
London-headquartered Two Circles now has nine offices globally across Europe, North America and Australia.
The data-driven agency’s expansive client roster includes some of the world’s largest sports properties, such as the Premier League, FIFA, UEFA, the NFL, Formula One, MLB and Wimbledon.
“Germany is a country full of passionate sports fans, where a more personalised, data driven approach can unlock greater returns,” said Gareth Balch Co-Founder & CEO of Two Circles.
“We want to help make that happen and welcoming our new Two Circlers will enhance our ability to continue supporting global rights owners in growing and engaging with fans across Germany.”
Stegelmann added, “The opportunity for growth in Germany is immense.
“Not only are we supporting fantastic German organisations domestically, but we’re also leveraging Two Circles’ global expertise to grow audiences and value on an international scale.
“I’m thrilled to be joining a team of experts who have a proven track record with leading rights owners and brands, and I’m excited to bring our unique proposition to the German market.”
