Two Circles has reached an agreement to acquire Stockholm-based sports agency Spring Media.

This marks the London-based agency’s second acquisition in recent weeks, after striking a deal with intelligence platform KORE earlier this month.

Spring Media’s media rights, live production and streaming expertise will help bolster Two Circles’ offering, enabling clients to expand their audiences.

Through the latest acquisition, Two Circles’ international client base now comprises more than 950 organisations.

Spring Media will additionally help expand the agency giant’s reach across Europe, including Sweden, the Netherlands, and the DACH region.

In September, Two Circles opened its first Germany office in Cologne.

Following the acquisition, Spring Media’s leadership team will all continue in executive roles at Two Circles, with the company’s CEO, Tobias Osmund, to serve as group Executive Director.

“It’s with great excitement that I can share that Spring Media will become part of Two Circles,” said Gareth Balch, Co-Founder and CEO at Two Circles.

“The combination of media rights sales with remote production and streaming optionality will be crucial in navigating the next era of media rights monetisation, especially when fuelled by the ability to grow audiences.”

Tobias Osmund, CEO at Spring Media Group, added, “By combining our businesses, we will give our existing clients access to even more market-leading technology and a team with an unparalleled understanding of both fans and the industry.

“In turn, we will be able to support Two Circles’ existing partners with an innovative approach to media rights management, streaming, and production.”
