Capitalize – The BrandFan Agency – has been appointed by global gaming operator Unibet to promote its new UK sportsbook and £3 million ‘Armchair Experts’ campaign, to be rolled out over the next few months.
Capitalize will activate Unibet’s Summer of Sport campaign, designed to relaunch the brand and its new improved sportsbook in the UK.
The sponsorship and PR campaign will involve a number of high profile events and promotions fronted by Unibet ambassadors Sir Ian Botham, Gavin Hastings and Goran Ivanisevic.
The Unibet brief will see Capitalize targeting national, consumer lifestyle, regional, and specialist sports media titles to promote and communicate the company’s founding motto ‘By Players, For Players’.
Capitalize’s appointment follows the agency’s long heritage in Unibet’s key sports categories; cricket, tennis and rugby, with brands including The Lord’s Taverners, Tetley’s, Britannia Asset Management, Hastings Direct and England Cricket and Rugby.
