Virgin Media has created a giant ball-pool in central London, filled with over 20,000 balls from a variety of sports, to highlight its position as the only place where fans can watch every live sports channel in the UK.
Kicking off the new season, the ball-pool stands at 110 feet off the ground, on the roof of London’s One New Change overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral.
Holding 20,064 balls from sports such as football, golf, cricket, tennis, rugby, snooker, basketball, netball and table tennis, Virgin Media used the activation to advertise its new sports bundles which include the Sky Sports channels, BT Sport, ESPN and Eurosport.
Dana Strong, chief operating officer at Virgin Media, said: ‘At Virgin Media, we’re proud to be the only place where fans can see all the live sporting action in HD, in one place, at home and on the go.’
