Visa Signs Team GB Deal With Boa

The British Olympic Association has struck a grass-roots sponsorship deal with
Visa for the credit card brand to become an official partner of Team GB at the
2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney.

The event established as part of the legacy of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games,
takes place from 17-21 January 2007.

Over one hundred of the UK’s finest young athletes, aged between 13-19, will
travel to Australia to compete in the event for the very first time.

The athletes will compete in 11 Olympic sports including canoeing/kayaking,
diving, figure skating, gymnastics, hockey, rowing, sailing, shooting, table
tennis and taekwondo.

Visa already has a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with the
International Olympic Committee as a TOP commercial partner.
