Vodafone has upped its involvement in grass-roots sport after striking a
sponsorship deal with the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA)
covering all University sports events.
The three-year sponsorship deal will see the mobile phone brand support
student sport in 151 universities across the UK.
Vodafone will also receive branding on BUSA’s website and at national events
for the 49 sports covered by the association’s remit.
Vodafone’s deal with BUSA is the latest in a string of grass-roots sport
initiatives being undertaken by brands keen to extend their corporate social
responsibility programmes.
