Six brands have made the Official Shortlist for Sport Brand of the Year, sponsored by Pinsent Masons, for their outstanding work in 2012: adidas following a stand-out Olympic Games and consistent success throughout the year; Channel 4, who revolutionised coverage of the Paralympic Games; Paddy Power, who grabbed headlines at Euro 2012, Cheltenham and Medinah; Team GB following a host of medals at London 2012;Team Sky for its part in the phenomenal growth of British cycling; and The Championships, Wimbledon, after a year of broken records and a British finalist.
