West Ham United and Intuit QuickBooks have launched the ‘Meet the Hammers’ campaign, with players supporting local businesses in East London.
The campaign, showcased across the club’s digital platforms, includes appearances from players such as Edson Alvarez, Katrina Gorry, Mohammed Kudus, and Manuela Pavi.
Ahead of the 31st January self-assessment tax deadline, Intuit QuickBooks has provided additional resources to help small UK-based business owners with tax preparation.
The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has launched its host selection process for the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
The CGF is inviting its 74 Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) to submit formal expressions of interest for hosting the Games.
The updated framework includes principles designed to modernise the process, increase flexibility, and reduce hosting costs.

The Games will continue to support both Para and non-Para sports, fostering the development of Para athletes and ensuring a level playing field while making a positive impact on the Commonwealth community.
Next year’s Commonwealth Games will be staged in Glasgow for a second time, having been revealed as the next host last September.
“With Glasgow 2026 fully operational, we are delighted to formally open our new collaborative host selection process for the centenary Games in 2030 and beyond,” said Darren Hall, Director of Games and Assurance at the Commonwealth Games Federation.
“In addition to single city proposals, co-hosting within a country and across nations and territories will be actively encouraged to open up more hosting opportunities for more Commonwealth countries previously excluded from the ability to host.”
The EFL has relaunched its Green Clubs scheme, designed to support clubs in enhancing their environmental practices and operations.
The scheme has partnered with GreenCode, an environmental accreditation organization run by the Green Britain Group, to assess clubs bi-seasonally against environmental standards.
Clubs will receive training to improve green practices, with bronze, silver, or gold status awarded based on their environmental efforts for the 2024/5 season

Wycombe midfielder David Wheeler, who is additionally the PFA’s Sustainability Champion, said, “I’ve always believed football can play a big part in creating positive action around climate change and the Green Clubs Scheme will support Clubs no matter where they are on their environmental journey.
“Changes that Clubs and individuals can make, may initially seem small but every action adds up and can make a big difference collectively.”
The E1 World Championship has agreed a new partnership which designates Match Hospitality Asia as the commercial hospitality partner of the E1 Doha GP.
Under the agreement, the Qatari company will provide hospitality at the Racers’ Lounge throughout the race, which will take place on 21st and 22nd February at Pearl Island.
The second season of the electric powerboat racing series will begin on 24th January with the E1 Jeddah GP.
